of view mitt romney as the candidate who's going to come in here and save them from president barack obama. that's why a lot of wall street lobbyists here in town were surprised when they heard say this last night. >> dod-frank was passed and it includes within it a number of provisions that i think have some unintended consequences that are harmful to the economy. one is it designates a number of banks as too big to fail and they're effectively guaranteed by the federal government. this is the biggest kiss that's been given to new york banks i've ever seen. >> i talked to one banking lobbyist here in town today. his reaction, he said folks were puzzled by that. even romney is beating up on the banks. one thing that unites democrats and republicans is beating up on the big banks. so, sue, here in washington, lobbyists for the banking industry watching that slightly askance. but i think there is a sense that a lot of this is political and doesn't necessarily imply how romney would necessarily govern as president of the united states. >> indeed. i think you are absolutely right. thank you. >
